The Chemical Brothers have rarely captured my interest musically wise. But they have made some pretty entertaining videos. Here are just three of their newest ones.
Eve of Destruction has tokusatsu which is always a win in my book. And I have got to admit, the song is not bad. We’ve Got To Try features a Formula 1 racing dog which eventually flys to space and crashlands on an alien planet. This is hilarious. Finally, Free yourself is about an army of singing and dancing robots who, well, free themselves from human control.
The music ensemble Brandt Brauer Frick combines electronic dance music with classical music. And the result is intriguing. This is a new video for the song Masse from their upcoming album Echo.
The video was filmed in the Zwentendorf Nuclear Power Plant in Austria which never went into service. The video concept is highly interesting. Each of the musicians was individually filmed in a different room resulting in ten videos for each single instrument. The band has put up an interactive website which allows you to switch between the instruments. I recommend to check this out.
Minimal techno played by a live trio using guitar, bass, and drums. This is Elektro Guzzi from Austria. You don’t believe it? Check out their live videos. Amazing concept, great sound. The new album Polybrass is going to be released on October 26th.
