Very cool sludge with a touch of stoner airiness.

Demonic Death Judge – We have to kill
Finish barbecue metal.
The Lumberjack Feedback – Therapy?
French instrumental post-metal band which makes great use of two drummers. It’s not a gimmick. Check out one of their insane drum videos. “Therapy?” is a song from their new album Mere Mortals.
Sūrya – Black Snake Prophecy
Sludgy post-metal that creates an intense black metal-ish atmosphere. Their new album is up for pre-order at bandcamp. Meanwhile, you may want to take a listen to their previous album which was already very good.
Burning Gloom – Nightmares
This is one great guitar riff. Check out Burning Gloom’s new album for more.
Primitive Man – Victim
I’ve listened to a lot of “extreme” bands in my life, but rarely anything has hit me like discovering Primitive Man a few years ago. To me, it’s the most brutal and heaviest band. In a good way. The music is crushing, it’s devestating, even exhausting. In a good way. After listening to a full album I feel tired, but also calm and full of joy. Even science agrees: Heavy Metal can boost your mental health.
The video title says NSFW and you better take the warning seriously. Neither the music nor the imagery is for everyone. It’s highly disturbing. In a good way.
Morass of Molasses – Death Of All
Very cool stoner rock band with bluesy riffs and progressive twists. Bandcamp.
Beastwars – Raise the Sword
Great stoner/sludge/doom band from New Zealand. This is a new song from the upcoming album IV. Killer riffs and unique vocals.
Everest Queen – Blood That Binds The Iliad (Live)
Some sludge metal to get you through the night. This is a great sounding in-your-face live video. Check out the band’s full album for a diverse and well rounded experience.
Dopethrone – Killdozer
Appropriate soundtrack for the Killdozer. Stoner-Sludge-Doom from Canada. You can download Dopethrone’s latest album for free from Bandcamp.
